Madison defeated Bruton this evening 3-0 (28-26, 25-13, 25-13). They will host Poquoson on Tuesday evening in the Class 2 Semi Final, time to be announced. Poquoson defeated George Mason 3-1 to advance. CLICK HERE to see the photo gallery from the match.

MCHS Varsity Volleyball vs Bruton. State Quarter Finals.

They snagged another little bit of history tonight, defeating George Mason 3-0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-23) to win the Region 2B championship for the first time in school history. With that win, they secure home court advantage for the state tournament and will host Bruton on Saturday night at 6:00pm. George Mason will travel to Poquoson who defeated Bruton 3-0 in their regional final. CLICK HERE to see the photos from the match.

Madison volleyball made a little history tonight. With the 3-0 sweep of East Rockingham, Madison advances to the Region 2B final tomorrow night, and becomes the first MCHS team ever to earn a berth in the State Tournament. Madison will host George Mason (they defeated Wilson Memorial 3-1 in the other semi) Wednesday night at 7:00pm. CLICK HERE to see the gallery from tonight’s match.
