MCHS Varsity Boys Basketball vs George Mason, Conference 35 Championship
From MCHS Athletics: The Boys Varsity Basketball team beat George Mason tonight to win the Conference 35 Championship 43-39. Gaines Swink led the Mountaineers with 11 points. Madison got a big boost offensively from Isaiah Breckenridge in the 1st quarter. Mason was leading 11-4 when Breckenridge came off the bench and hit two 3 pointers to spark a 12-0 Madison run. Madison never trailed again. Madison (21-2) will host Page County on Friday night at 7:00pm in the 1st round of the Region 2A East Playoffs.
