MCHS Boys Basketball vs William Monroe
From MCHS Athletics:
The Boys Varsity Basketball team beat William Monroe tonight 69-66 in overtime. Monroe jumped out to a 12-0 lead to start the game and lead by as many as 15 in the 3rd quarter before a great defensive effort sparked the comeback. Isiah Smith led the Mountaineers with 25 points. Kobi Alexander had a huge game with 19 points, 14 rebounds and 5 steals. Gaines Swink and Dre Twyman both finished with 11 points. Madison got a solid performance off the bench from both Jamar Turner and Isaiah Breckenridge especially in the 2nd half. Madison will travel to George Mason on Saturday for an 8:00pm game.
