When I left, after the fourth inning (I think), Madison was up 7-4 over Luray (I think).  It’s hard for me to keep up without the scoreboard.  And I heard that Madison pulled out a 12-11 win.  (click either photo to see the gallery)

If you thought it was cold at those baseball and softball games last week, that was NOTHING compared to being on that soccer field today.  Temps in the 30’s, with what had to be at least 20-30 mph winds.  I don’t see how those girls survived out there.  Hopefully the game was called early for the slaughter rule.  Madison led Page 9-0 at the half, which is when I left.  (click either photo below to see the gallery)

Brooke Crouthamel started off the scoring for Madison, and Skylar Colvin scored the second goal, after that, I lost count. Madison had a 4-0 lead 10 minutes into the game.

Abby Bowman put in a couple while I was there, and Katy Sorrell put in at least one and was involved in several more. I couldn’t always tell who scored because my eyes would freeze shut from time to time.

Another successful Leprechaun Launch this morning, and despite the cold temperatures and rain, I think everyone had a good time.  Just look at the pictures from the “Slip ‘n Slide”.  They’re cold and wet and still smiling :-).

When I left at the end of the fourth inning, the game was tied at 4.  Luray took an early lead in the third going up 4-0.  But Madison came back in the bottom of the fourth to tie the game at 4…..and that’s all I know….UPDATE:  Madison defeats Luray 8-7.   (click either image below to see the gallery)
