If you’re not aware of it, I archive photos from past years/seasons on a different website.  From now through November 29, 2012, photos purchased from that site are 25% off.  It does not apply to photos that are currently on this site, or other photos stored on the archive site (such as portraits, I archive those there too, but they aren’t priced).  So yeah, it’s a bit complicated, you have to navigate your way around another website, but, you can choose from photos that go back as far as 2002 up through the fall of 2012!!!!   For many of the photos you can also purchase a digital download if that’s your preference.  Collages are not available.  Photos will be printed by a professional lab and will be shipped directly to you.

Before a standing room only crowd tonight, Madison defeated William Monroe 45-14 in an Alumni Football game put on by AlumniFootballUSA.com.    Now let’s see if I can remember all the touchdowns:  Ralph Yates started off the scoring for Madison with a TD within the first minute of the game, and scored another in the second half.  Raymond Kirkley would score three for Madison including one on a 90 yard run.  Quarterback Daniel Woodward scored one on a qb keeper.  And the final Mountaineer touchdown was scored by Casey Brown on a pass from Woodward.  Did I get them all?  It’s too late at night to do the math….

Madison lost to Luray tonight 3-1 (25-21, 19-25, 20-25, 22-25) in the semi-finals of the Region B volleyball tournament.  Luray will advance to the finals at Altavista on Saturday night.  Altavista defeated Nelson 3-0 in their Region B semi.

In other Bull Run District action, George Mason lost to Goochland 3-0 in the Region B, D2 semi, and Clarke lost to Stuarts Draft 3-0 in their Region B, D2 semi.

Whew!  Big win for the Lady Mountaineers tonight.  After dropping the first set 21-25, there was a major momentum shift in the second set when Madison came from way down to win that set 25-23.  The comeback led by the serves of Abby Bowman, and some absolutely incredible digs by Jessica Schmitt to keep the ball in play.  With that momentum, Madison went on to win the third set 25-21 and take a 2-1 lead in the match.  The fourth set was all East Rockingham, and they carried that momentum into the fifth and final set, taking a 7-1 lead to start that one off.  But the Lady Mountaineers scored the next 13 points to take a 14-7 lead, before finally winning the match 15-9 on a Cassity Lacy kill.

Luray defeated Riverheads tonight 3-1, so Madison will play Luray at 7:00pm on Thursday, at Madison, in the Region B semi finals.  In other Region B action, #1 seed Altavista defeated #8 Nottoway, and #4 Nelson defeated #5 Central 3-1.  Nelson will play at Altavista Thursday at 7:00pm in the other Region B semi.
