MCHS Varsity Football vs Page
Madison’s varsity football team defeated Page tonight 26-12. Madison’s Maurice Gentry scored on a run from 4 yards out in the first quarter to put Madison up 7-0. Quarterback James Graves would add to the score in the second quarter, scoring from the 1 yard line giving Madison a 13-0 lead at half. Ashton Weakley scored twice for the Mountaineers in the second half, first on a TD pass from Graves, and then again on an 85 yard kickoff return. Page scored twice in the second half, giving a final score of Madison 26, Page 12.
Lots of turnovers last night, mostly fumbles, fortunately, Madison did most of the recovering.
