First, READ THIS PLEASE: Team & Individual photos for Rookies, Minors, and Majors baseball will be NEXT SATURDAY, April 21. Baseball players need to arrive ONE HOUR before game time to have individual photos taken. Once all of the team is there, we’ll do the team photo. I’ll be set up by the woods in front of the concession stand. PLEASE stop by for you individual photo as soon as you arrive so we can get done quickly and you’ll have plenty of batting cage and warmup time. I’ll drop off photo order forms on Tuesday and Wednesday at games/practices.

Today was Opening Day for Madison Parks and Rec Baseball. I shot one game of Rookies, and one game of Minors. You can click on one of the images below to go to the gallery from that game.

Madison’s varsity baseball team defeated Manassas Park tonight 8-2. Collin Tucker threw a complete game, giving up only five hits. (click any photo to see the entire gallery)
I liked that you can see the dust that was kicked up as the ball bounced to Collin.

Madison’s varsity girl’s soccer team defeated Manassas Park today 2-0. Katy Sorrell scored a goal in the first half, and Lindsay Wheeler scored in the second half to give Madison the win. (click either image to see the gallery)

Madison’s varsity softball team defeated Central 5-1 this evening. (click on any image to see the gallery) NBC29.com Story (includes video).

The Varsity Softball team beat Central last night 5-1. Lauren Seale pitched a complete game striking out 16 Falcons and allowing no earned runs.
Seale also led the offense with 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Karri Carpenter also had 2 hits and Timberly Deane had a hit and 2 RBI. Sam Atwell and Casey Racer also had hits for Madison. Abbie Erb scored 2 runs and Cagney Shifflett also scored a run.
