I did something a little different this year. Rather than take stills, I attached a small video camera to the rear of my bike and shot video of the ride. I liked the idea of the camera pointing backwards, that way I’d get faces of the people I passed…and those that passed me…which was mostly what I got :-/
Here’s the video, it’s about 12 minutes, the start goes up Main St., and turns right on Thrift Road…
Madison’s varsity boy’s soccer team lost to Clarke today 4-1. The game was tied at the end of the first half at 1, Madison goal by Nick Camillucci. But Clarke scored three in the second half to take the game.
Another senior night, and another win. Varsity softball defeated Rappahannock 10-0 tonight. The win moves them up to 16-3 overall and 9-0 in Bull Run District play….and have won their last 12 games. They only have Clarke left to play on Tuesday night of next week.
Four softball seniors: Jordan Aylor, Megan Clark, Amanda Whitaker, and Amber Robson...and their families.
Well, time for senior nights again. Last regular season home games…although they play a makeup game with Clarke on Monday, I think. Actually play Clarke home and then away back to back. Those games will determine second place in the Bull Run District.
I only stayed to the first half of the varsity game so I could get over to softball and be there for the senior festivities there. Madison had a 5-0 lead over Rappahannock when I left. Lindsay Aldridge had put in two back to back goals, following were goals by Leanna Coates, Samantha Cubbage, and Lindsey Wheeler.
Two soccer seniors: Carrie Birkett and Samantha Cubbage.
The JV girls also won today 1-0 over Rappahannock. Madison’s goals scored by Caitlin Shilan.
