Madison picked up three wins this evening over William Monroe. Madison’s JV Softball team started it off with a 2-1 win over William Monroe’s JV girls. Varsity softball followed JV, I left after three innings to head over to baseball. Madison’s girls had a 1-0 lead when I left on a solo home run by freshman Lauren Seale, her second of the season. Before I left for baseball I’d seen on twitter that J.P. Utz had hit a grand slam in the first inning of the baseball game, and when I got there Madison had a 7-1 lead. They’d keep that through the fourth inning, William Monroe would score 5 runs in the fifth to come within one, but got no closer with Madison picking up the win 7-6.
