ALWAYS Return the Shovel!!
It's the "human element" that makes these photos so interesting...at least to me...
Last Tuesday, I visited the Stanley Furniture plant in Stanleytown, VA to look at some machinery that Mountain Lumber (my day job) might like to buy. Almost all of the machinery in the 1.7 MILLION square foot plant is up for sale. The company began in 1924 and had been able to keep all manufacturing in the United States up until now, but began to shift some of its production to “offshore vendors” by the end of 2010. 530 jobs were cut.
