Madison’s boy’s basketball defeated Monticello tonight 71-36.
Ummm....mismatch on the tipoff????
I don't think you're supposed to do that....
Lots of dunks tonight, including one by the cheerleaders....
".....nasty...."
From MCHSAthletics.com: “The Varsity Boys Basketball team continued to roll tonight with a 71-36 thrashing of Monticello. Madison once again put 4 players in double figures tonight with David Falk scoring 18 points to lead the way. Logan Terrell (14), Jerel Carter (13) and Matt Garr (12) also contributed to the onslaught. Garr had the play of the night with a nasty one handed dunk in transition over a Monticello player. Not to be outdone, on the next possession Falk took a pass off the backboard from Carter for a monster two handed dunk that sent the crowd into a frenzy.”

The 7th Annual Mountaineer Classic Wrestling Tournament was today…I don’t have any results other than Madison defeating Western Albemarle 66-18 in Madison’s first match of the day. (click a picture to go to the gallery)
Peter Thawngzauk pinned Western's Stephen Yoh in 31 seconds.
Western's Josh Epstein seems quite happy to have won by forfeit.
Danny Camunas pinned Jeff Mahan in 12 seconds...I had time to squeeze off about 5 shots....
Orange defeated Spotswood 48-36 in their first match of the tournament.
