From the MCHS Athletics website:
The Varsity Football team beat Nelson County tonight 35-0. Logan Terrell led the way with 105 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns while Jerod Williams scored twice and rushed for 72 yards. Ralph Yates also scored while gaining 63 yards rushing. Dustin Kirby threw for 109 yards. Madison had 409 yards of total offense tonight while the Madison defense held the Governors to only 68 total yards.

Beautiful day for photos!!
Sprinkler rainbows..

….and yes, there was a golf match.
From the MCHS Athletics website:
The Golf team picked up their second win in two days yesterday when they beat Strasburg 174-199 at the Greene HIlls Golf Course. Josh Honaker fired a season low 41 to lead the Mountaineers. Hunter Preddy (43), Collin Tucker (44) and Casey Campbell (46) were the other low scorers for Madison.

Nice new school and gym at Luray with HIGH ceilings! (If you remember, the old LHS gym had very low ceilings, not very good for volleyball). The high ones didn’t help Madison much tonight. JV lost to Luray 2-0. Varsity had an exciting match taking it to five games. Came back in the fifth game after being down 10-6 and tied it at 12. Traded points with Luray eventually losing 18-16. Madison’s varsity defeated Manassas Park rather easily tonight in three games, 25-15, 25-8, and 25-17.
The JV’s had an easy match also, defeating Manassas Park in two games, 25-14 and 25-8.
