Madison defeated Rapp 8-0 and they stopped the game with about 11:30 left to go, I guess they call it the “slaughter rule” in soccer too.  I don’t think I can remember all the goals….Julia Craig started off the scoring with a goal before even one minute had ticked off the clock.  Then Ivy Jacobs put one in, followed by Samantha Cubbage, and then Rapp put on in for us making it 4-0 at half time.  Rachel Strahan scored one less than two minutes after the start of the second half, then Sam put in another one.  Gabby Wadel put one in a while later…and I’m not sure about the last goal, Ashley Sealander maybe?????

I shot part of the JV game and the first half of the varsity game.  I can’t imagine how hard it was to run around out there in shorts.  I had gloves on and my fingers were frozen when I left.  At halftime, the varsity girls were in a 1-1 tie with Wilson, Madison’s goal being provided by Rachel Strahan, photo below.

I had a remote camera attached to the back of the goal.  Got the photo above with it..not all that wonderful…a little too wide  🙁

The one below is probably the best I got today from the remote camera, a Wilson player saving Lindsey Wheeler’s shot..

That’s the thing with remotes, 99% of the time you get nothing…I’ll try again at track tomorrow…’cause one of these times I’ll get something really coooool  🙂

The JV Girls ended their game in a 1-1 tie with Mary-Margaret Gaylord scoring Madison’s only goal.

What amounted to a pitcher’s duel didn’t make for many action pictures.  Orange’s pitcher, Micalah Sacre, threw a no-hitter, and Jordan didn’t allow many hits either.  Orange took home the win, 3-0.

Madison’s JV girls lost to Orange 17-3.

Not a good night to take pictures.  Drizzle and fog are just tough conditions….it was dark when I got there at 7…bleh…
