Eagles

Published by under eagles

as in Bald Eagles…our national bird…not the band that’s coming to JPJ in 12 days (yes, I’m counting down the days. I have tickets! They’ve always been one of my favorite bands). Although these two did do quite a bit of singing… well…. making eagle noises. I’m not sure what that was all about. The other times I’ve seen them they’ve been quiet.

These are extreme crops.  I wish I knew when I’d see them again, I’d rent a bigger lens!

Clouds

Published by under black and white,HDR,landscape

The black and whites are digital infrared ………Oh yeah, while I was out with a tripod and wide angle lens on the camera, our resident balds eagles were flying around. So…I walk all the way back to the house to get a telephoto…all along hoping the eagles would still be there when I got back. They were nice today. They hung around and allowed a few pictures. That one in the header up there is probably the best. It’s an EXTREME crop, they never really got very close to me.

MCHS Varsity Baseball vs Clarke

Published by under baseball,clarke,mchs

With the girl’s soccer team screaming in the background, Nick Aylor slid safely into home putting Madison up 1-0 in the bottom of the third inning. Nick was a courtesy runner for pitcher Justin Dodson who led off the inning with a double. (The score was still 1-0 when I left at the end of the fourth.)

Seniors Logan Dodson, Matt Lambert, Chris Deane, and Bradley Gentry, playing in their final regular season home game, threw out the first pitch.
