..boo hoo! The boys home basketball game between Madison and Strasburg has been postponed. Check MCHSAthletics.com to see when it will be played. So, no basketball pictures tonight. I’ll be shooting some of the Madison Duels wrestling tournament tomorrow, so look for photos from that. For now, all I have is a picture of a goat….in the snow…eating snowflakes.

There was a “white-out” in Wetsel gym on Saturday night (January 12) when the boys basketball team beat Orange for the first time since 2001. Orange led for most of the game, with the score Madison 24 and Orange 27 at half time. Jerel Carter tied the score at 29 with 5:55 left in the third period. Orange bounced back…until Logan tied the score at 45 with 5:59 left in the game. After that, Madison led for most of the rest of the game until Orange tied the score at 56 with 27.5 seconds left on the clock. A few timeouts followed, allowing Orange and Madison cheerleaders…and one Madison fan :-)….to perform some on-floor acrobatics.
Jerel finally put Orange away with a short jumper with a little over three seconds left on the clock. Orange inbounded the ball and threw a long pass down court, but David Falk and Chris Fincham were there to knock the ball away as time ran out.
You can see all the photo from the game here, below are a few of my favorites from the night.
