I’ve been wanting to post this for a few days, but didn’t want to spoil the surprise. We did a poster for Madison’s varsity volleyball team and the prints came back from the lab today and look absolutely awesome! You’ll be seeing the posters in businesses around town.
The volleyball schedule is on the poster, so you have no reason not to come out and cheer on our ladies!! (Note that the Monticello game on September 18 will now be played in Madison.)
Also be sure to thank our sponsors for the poster, Jill’s Country Treasures and Collectibles, and Erik J. Weaver/Delwood Farm.

We needed a lunchroom table so our employees in Madison would have a place to sit and eat their lunch. So our resident cabinetmaker/master craftsman Ed Wood glued up a few scraps of wood that were laying around the plant and came up with this table and two benches….and I can assure you that the photographs don’t do the quality of the craftsmanship justice!

I’ve been doing a little bit of interior, or architectural, photography for the company I work for, Mountain Lumber Company. The darker flooring in the photos is their Authentic Distressed Heart Pine. The lighter flooring is their character grade of Ancient Chinese Elm.

We think a doe that lives in our woods must have had twins, we’ve seen a couple of fawns in the woods lately. Their mom is pretty shy, but the fawns don’t seem to mind having their picture taken!
