Madison’s varsity baseball team lost to William Monroe this afternoon 7-1.  Madison’s only run came from a solo home run by Travis Warren in the sixth inning.

Mason Bowman made a nice catch in left field.

Madison’s JV baseball team lost to William Monroe 13-6.

Love the dirt flying off the bat...don't get stuff like that at night games.

Madison’s varsity girl’s soccer team lost to Orange 3-2 (at least that’s what I heard, I left with the score 3-1 and about 18 minutes left to play….my hands were too cold to keep shooting…).  Samantha Cubbage scored a goal in the first half….don’t know who scored the second one.

Madison’s JV girls picked up a 1-0 win over Orange today. Freshman Savannah Bench scored the lone goal of the game with just over 3 minutes to play in the game…thankfully avoiding the dreaded tie.

Don’t really have any results…except what I have below.  It ended a little early because of the storms.

Jody Butler won the women's 110 meter hurdles.

Ummm....Clare Moretz....won the women's 1600 meters...they could have stopped it after 200 meters, she had it then.

And Lynn Welch took the men's 1600 meters rather easily also... well, he made it look easy.

This guy wasn't so sure about running by that remote camera...

Rashad Bolden, L. J. Ward, and the Orange brothers won the men's 4x100 relay, with William Monroe a VERY close second.

I left after 4 innings with Page in the lead 1-0.  Don’t know the final score….

Madison varsity boy’s soccer played William Monroe to a 1-1 tie today.  Madison’s goal came off a header by Luke Crouthamel on a corner kick by Nick Camillucci.

Madison goalie Sam Young also had some nice saves in goal.
