I’m not sure I ever saw Madison’s goalie even touch the ball today…it got close once or twice…
Let’s see if I can remember all of Madison’s goals: Samantha Cubbage, Gabby Wadel, Samantha Cubbage, Kayla Compton, Ashley Sealander, Maria Rincon, Mary Margaret Gaylord…and that was just the first half! Rachel Strahan made it 8-0 in the second half and the mercy rule ended the game a little later. So that makes their record 11-0-1 with four district games left to play. Madison’s varsity boy’s soccer team lost to Manassas Park today 3-2. The Cougars scored first and then Matt Batman tied the game at one with a goal about 14 minutes into the game. Manassas Park scored two quick goals at the beginning of the second half. Luke Crouthamel put in another goal, on a penalty kick, for Madison with less than 2 minutes to play.
Madison’s JV Boy’s soccer team lost to Manassas Park today 6-0.

Madison was down 6-1 in the middle of the sixth when I left…just wasn’t my night to shoot baseball. I just seemed to be a little late on every play…
